2004

Consulting company Double Case was established in New York, in 2004. It was founded by a group of stock traders with long-standing experience in the US stock exchanges. An important distinctive feature of the company's development strategy was a different approach to trading. It was a new way to most financial market participants. The traders of the company did not engage in quick deals and did not restrict themselves to one asset.

Double Case` operations originally were focused on trading and attracting new investments. It was offered to work with two fixed investment portfolios for each client. That provided the high profits and minimal risks in trading. This feature was translated in the name of the company — Double Case.

2006

Due to a shortage of qualified traders, in 2006 the company opened its first Trading School. The coaches of this classes trained experienced professionals with the practical skills of competent analysis and market forecasting. In addition, traders of Double Case were starting to exploit the trade in Forex foreign exchange market.

Since the end of 2006, the Great Recession begins. This wake-up call and great economic decline grew out of the subprime mortgage crisis in the US. The disaster was a worldwide phenomenon and started to become apparent at rising unemployment, at immense fall of production and decline in demand and prices for commodities. Most of the big investment companies and banks in the United States crashed. It was followed by a total collapse in the stock markets.

Each specialist of Double Case through the training at the School of Trading became one of the few who were able to notice the first signs of an impending crisis and prevent the collapse of their company. Traders began an early transferring of their clients` assets from the stock market to the foreign exchange market. This had attracted a good deal of criticism from the other market participants and resulted in losses of almost 20% of investors who did not want to get involved with the foreign exchange market. As it turned out, these actions allowed the company to weather the crisis with minimal losses.

2007

The increase in the number of experienced traders and analysts in the foreign exchange market, since the end of 2007, had required from Double Case to develop actively the School of Trading. The training programs were clearly structured and included a number of compulsory subjects:

  • theoretical training;
  • hands-on training;
  • trading psychology;
  • strategic planning;
  • economic forecasting.

The training was also organized according to the level of initial training of traders:

  • basic academy course is the first stage of training, for those who have just started their career;
  • basic practical course is the trade and market analysis frameworks;
  • refresher course is the customized training programs for experienced traders.

The company continually upgraded and expanded its educational programs, assisted its clients in commercial deals and used its consulting services for the aspects of foreign exchange market functioning. As a result, Double Case has become firmly established at the forefront of specialized education and training for licensed traders.

2008

The timely implementation of the foreign exchange market and the heated response helped the company to start its rapid growth. Having reached new heights, the management of Double Case decided to focus on the educational field. The company's specialists began to attract third-party brokers for trading such as AMEX, PSE, Interactive Brokers Group, Pelliron. These trading services are highly valued in the financial market, and representatives of company receive training in Double Case refresh courses.

At the end of 2008, the company awards contracts with Pelliron. This group supported opportunities on the market and provided profitable conditions for traders.

2015

In 2015, Double Case has become one of the most successful companies in specialized education in the United States. Each year, the company trained more than 2 000 traders in the field of foreign exchange trading. In the same year, Double Case was moving steadily towards European integration and opening its first representation in Milan.

This expansion was one of the best solutions and allowed to begin developing new training programs, mixing American and European practices. After Italy, Double Case offices are opened in London (2015) and two offices in Chisinau (2016).

2021

After finalization the development of training programs for European offices in 2021 and being licensed to engage in educational activity in Europe, the founders continued their expansion in Ukraine. The company opens 4 offices in the largest cities of the country in September 2021, such as:

  • Odessa
  • Lviv
  • Kharkiv

2022

In 2022, due to the rapid popularization of the profession of "Trader", as well as the high quality of training courses from the Double Case Academy of Exchange Trading, the number of people wishing to study exceeded the capacity of the offices to accommodate everyone. In order to meet class size standards and not reduce the curriculum, Double Case Consulting is opening three new offices in Moldova and Ukraine:

  • third office in Kyiv
  • second office in Lviv
